The 3rd Platform Innovation Accelerators

Innovation Accelerators

The IT landscape is transforming at a rapid pace and organizations’ ecosystems are a combination of traditional legacy systems and third platform solutions of cloud, mobile, social and big data. The adoption of 3rd platform solutions is driven by the need for operational efficiency, agility and scalability. Given the pace of innovation, many industries are exploring or are in the early stages of adoption of innovation accelerators. Innovation accelerators include the Internet of Things, Robotics, Augmented/Virtual Reality, Next Generation Security, Cognitive systems and 3D Printing. These solutions are not just changing traditional processes but changing industries at large. These solutions, combined with 3rd platform solutions, are taking us to the next industrial revolution.
