Instructors Bios


Ahmed Kamal.
Ahmed Kamal is a Co-Founder and manager of Cloud Niners. Kamal is a cloud computing and datacenter consultant. He worked at Canonical, Microsoft and Mentor Graphics. A. Kamal led an engineering team that built the cloud solution for Sun Microsystems, latter becoming Oracle. He has extensive knowledge in building Web2.0, cloud computing and open-source based solutions.


Ahmed El Refaey.
Ahmed El Refaey is a Senior software engineer at Cloud Niners. A natural born developer since he was 11, And an open source believer. Ahmed is passionate about technologies including Python/Django, Java, Scala, NoSQL, Android. His areas of interest revolve around cloud computing, scalable distributed programming and modern web2.0 backend architectures.


Eslam Mmamdouh.
Eslam Mmamdouh is a Systems engineer, acting as devops lead at Cloud Niners. Eslam is a puppet master and a devops ninja. He sees infrastructure as code and believes he can build a big red button that gets everything running as it should. His areas of interest are datacenter management, open source technologies, DevOps, IT automation, cloud instance life-cycle management and puppet among others.
